Concentration Practical Test
26 rows; the time limit is 6 minutes

Concentration and focus are essential ingredients to digging in and getting things done. Can you zone in on any demanding task or are you having troubles getting through this paragraph? The Concentration Test is equipped with a timer that counts down the minutes as the pressure mounts. This is a test that plays like a game, but simultaneously exercises the brain and alerts you to your concentration strengths and weaknesses. Concentrate now!

Your task is to find pairs of ADJACENT numbers (side by side) that add up to 10. When you find such a pair, click on the corresponding buttons below both numbers. For example,

5
7
3
8
4
5
5
3
6
4
9
0
2

You have 6 minutes to complete the task. When you are ready to begin, click on the start button at the bottom of your screen. (Please note that your browser must be JAVA-enabled for the countdown to work. Alternately, you can time yourself by simply using a timer with an alarm.) That will initiate a count down of the remaining time. Do not examine the series of numbers before you start. When your time is up, you will see a pop-up window that will ask you to stop working and to submit the test for scoring. Close that window and scroll down to the Score button at the bottom of this page, even if you have not finished. Click on Score in order to get your results. Good luck.

If you wish to save your test results you need to sign up for My Q Profile, a free test storage bank. You will have the opportunity to sign up after you receive the results, however we suggest you set up your account before you take the test so you don't risk losing your results.
