6 skills guaranteed to improve your memory!
This section will introduce you to 6 tried and true memory skills. You should experiment with them and combine them until you find something that works for you. The skills are: Association, organization, linking, journey, acronyms and pegwords. These terms probably mean nothing to you now, but they will soon.
All of the lessons are set up the same way. You'll start with a quick memory exercise (make sure you take a note of the score you get on this). Next we'll review the basics of the skill and give you an example of how to use it. After that you'll try the exercise again and see how much you improved. Most of these skills are easy and based on some common sense, however they may seem a little bit silly. Don't worry, the sillier something is the easier it is to remember!
Try to use just the skill you're being taught when you do the exercises so that you're result will accurately reflect which skill works best for you. In order to make it easier to not mix up the different skills we suggest that you take a breather between skills, maybe even a day or two. Try practicing the skill in the meantime.
Don't forget the tips you just read (repeat, repeat, repeat) as well as the list of things you're more likely to remember (sexy, colourful, weird, emotional, etc...). Click here to go back to the tips.
Have Fun!
